Welcome to the Center for Advanced Ceramic Technology (CACT) at Alfred University. The role of the CACT is to facilitate collaboration between industry and academia with the goal of creating economic impact for the CACT's industrial partners. In particular, the CACT promotes the internationally recognized expertise of AU's faculty in advanced technical ceramics and glass. The CACT leverages this expertise in a number of fields, including ceramics and glass for application in energy, the environment, health care, defense, and much more. The CACT is highly flexible and works with companies of all sizes, from one person start-ups to multi-national corporations, on a variety of projects ranging from short-term analytical testing to multi-year sponsored research contracts.Resources
